Is It Really Spring Already?

As we had to make a little trip into White Rock today, we thought it would be nice to go down to the beach for a walk. The wind was just blowing in as cold as cold could be. In fact, it had been snowing just 10 minutes before we arrived at the beach! As you can see from these pictures, there were only a few people braving the elements. And even though there was plenty of parking, we hadn't brought any coinage along, so we walked from the top of the steep hill down to the water. Down was okay, but uphill was slow slogging!

What? You did not bring any COINAGE to pay for parking? Do you not find any on your walk?? HAha
It feels like we're reverting back to fall/winter times again. It's so cold out!! Definitely braving the elements walking out to the ocean and feeling the chipper air.

ps. that last shot reminds me of Dad's artwork that is hanging in your dining room. please tell him that.

Girls, it has been a bit of bust this Springtime thing hasn't it!! But it really was quite wonderful and super refreshing down on the sands. The last time Daddy and I were on the sands was when we all had those pictures taken and Cameron was what, 3 weeks old? That's a long time.

April-very funny, very funny about the coinage. Yesterday I found 21 cents right across the street from our house and today, daddy and I spotted a road kill dime on our walk up 108th. But it still wouldn't have been enought to cover parking in White Rock!

I told daddy about your comment April. Well daddy took the picture and daddy painted the picture you are referring to, so I guess it's no wonder they have a similar feel is it? xxxooo
