Catie dear reminded me of a little English beauty today-perhaps the new little floral dress added to the charm.
Coco was heading for "lights out" on her Pappa's shoulder and even though she has her fingers in her mouth you can see her smiling eyes!
I began blogging when my daughter "Murrayville Mom" was the only blogging daughter in the family, now that I have two daughters blogging, the name isn't as appropriate but it's me!
Each and every little thing I do makes a difference and while today is officially Earth Day, I hope to make it last the other 364 days too. It's up to me, it's up to you. As the saying goes..."many hands make the work light".
The view from our front window
Ladybugs = Spring! When I was taking this picture, I hadn't realized there were 2 on the Japanese Maple trunk
The star magnolia putting on a wonderful show for us
I love the way the light captured the "heart" of one of our daffs
The ravine has come to life, the small fry aka, salmon have hatched, the waterbugs are back, as are the swamp lilys. So vibrant with their shiney lime green leaves and yellow cones. They have put on a spectacular show again this year!
The following pictures are taken down below.
The sight and scent from 100s of these plants pushing up through the wet boggy land is something to behold
If you look closely you can see the recently hatched fry
A carpet of greens that will soon sprout delicate purple flowers
Just above this tranquil forest scene is an elementary school just resounding with lunchtime fun
My beloved, my fellow soujourner in life
Taken circa, 1975 at Hume Park! This girl always new how to accesorize!
It's April's birthday today and on birthday's you give presents, but it is April who gave us the gifts. The gift of laughter. The gift of love. The gift of wisdom. The gift of integrity. The gift of ingenuity. The gift of listening. The gift of fun.
Oh yes, we had our moments, and I'd be a big, fat Pinnochio if I said otherwise, but they were of the everyday variety. We had drama, we had tears, but most of all we had April Sunshine, or April "Star" as she wanted to be called when she was a little girl. She has a ton of friends, a wonderful husband who loves her even more than we do, and an enchanting little girl. She gives life her all. I thank God every day for our darling April.

Wishing you my darling daughter a Very Happy Birthday. Have a wonderful new year, may it be filled with many blessings.
